Getting Around Taipei

Taipei has a convenient, safe, and reliable public transportation system. The Taipei Metro is usually the easiest way to move around the city. Taxis and ride-hailing services are also widely available.

We recommend using an EasyCard or iPASS for public transportation and convenience store purchases. These cards can be purchased and topped up at MRT stations and convenience stores.

Airport Transportation

International attendees arriving at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport may take the Taoyuan Airport MRT, airport taxi, or private transportation to Taipei.

The Taoyuan Airport MRT provides direct access to Taipei Main Station, where attendees can transfer to the Taipei Metro or take a short taxi ride to the Congress venue or nearby hotels.
