The Second Edition of the International Conference “Exploring the Future of Inhalation Drug Delivery” is organized by University of Parma will take place in Parma (Italy) from 8th to 10th September 2026. 

The conference will focus on advances in the formulation and development of inhaled medicines. This is a sector in strong and continuous evolution, with growing attention towards the introduction of innovative medicines intended for local or systemic treatment. The topics covered by the sessions will be related to inhalation of biologics such as DNA/RNA-based therapies, new therapies for unmet diseases (cough, cancer, lung infection, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis), MDI propellant transition and nasal drug delivery.

A scientific session will be dedicated to young researchers and the promotion of their research.

The meeting will be an opportunity to showcase and share research achievements and to interact with leading researchers and companies in this field.
