Stephanie Langel is a Medical Instructor and faculty member in the Department of Surgery and Center for Human Systems Immunology at Duke University’s Medical School.
Her lab studies mucosal immunity to viral infections and vaccines with the goal of identifying correlates of immune protection against infection and transmission.
Recently she collaborated with aerosol scientists at Lovelace Biomedical to better understand aerosol transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in the presence of antiviral immunity at the mucosal surface.
