  • Stephanie Langel is a Medical Instructor and faculty member in the Department of Surgery and Center for Human Systems Immunology at Duke University’s Medical School.
  • Her lab studies mucosal immunity to viral infections and vaccines with the goal of identifying correlates of immune protection against infection and transmission.
  • Recently she collaborated with aerosol  scientists at Lovelace Biomedical to better understand aerosol transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in the presence of antiviral immunity at the mucosal surface.
