International Workshop on Lung Health (IWLH) 2026

A very warm welcome to the International Workshop on Lung Health (IWLH) 2026.

We are very excited to be hosting this event in beautiful Budapest, Hungary at the Radisson Blu Beke Hotel on 15–17 January 2026.

This year delegates from across the world will gather; clinicians, researchers, nurses, physiotherapists, industry representatives, and patients – united in their common mission to help patients suffering from various lung diseases – to breathe easier, and live a fuller life.

Scientific Programme

This year’s scientific programme will address various challenges, hot topics and the latest emerging issues in respiratory medicine.

During the conference over 30 speakers along with our Rising Stars and insightful poster abstract sessions will cover a diverse range of topics, including asthma, bronchiectasis, COPD, infections, cross-track topics and the latest breaking research.

Rising Stars

Our Rising Stars programme is open to early-career researchers/clinicians; the two winners will have the opportunity to make a 15-minute presentation to the auditorium.

Oral Communication and Poster Presentations

Four accepted oral communication presenters will have the opportunity to give a 10 minute speech in front of the international audience during the “Oral Communication session” – Saturday, January 17th, 2026. Accepted poster presenters will also have the opportunity to discuss their work during the strolling poster session.

All our Rising Stars, Oral and Poster presenters will receive invaluable personal feedback from the congress Presidents and Chairmen.

FuHel Mentoring Programme

Since the beginning, IWLH has been strongly committed to supporting, encouraging and giving greater visibility to the next generation of clinicians and researchers.

The FuHel Mentoring Programme will see 10–12 early career clinicians and researchers attend a mentoring programme, which aims to help them identify and seize opportunities, to boost their career, and thrive internationally in their chosen field.

Please submit your abstracts or apply for the mentoring programme by the 15th of November 2025 deadline.
