25th ISAM Congress 2025 We are celebrating our Silver Jubilee!
The 25th Congress of the International Society for Aerosols in Medicine (ISAM) will take place near Washington DC on the University of Maryland, College Park Campus on June 22-25, 2025. This pulmonary drug delivery and respiratory health conference brings
together leading aerosol and drug delivery scientists from academia and industry, regulatory experts, clinicians, and healthcare professionals. While the program is still in very early development, the campus is in proximity to many local universities
(Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, VCU and others) and major Washington DC institutions (FDA, USP, NIST, NIH and EPA) and we plan to draw upon experts from those venues as speakers. The ISAM 2025 Congress team is led by David Cipolla, Gregg Duncan, Cathy
Fromen, Mariam Ibrahim, Donna Konicek, Bing Li, Lana Lyapustina.
In response to survey feedback from the ISAM 2023 Congress, we plan to expand the opportunities for graduate students and early career scientists to get exposure at the Congress. We will be selecting from the submitted poster abstracts for rapid fire
poster on the podium sessions because you are the next generation of leaders of ISAM.
Regarding the programming committee, we have already heard from some ISAM 2023 attendees who have volunteered to join our ISAM 2025 Congress planning team. If you are an ISAM member and would like to join the planning team, have questions about ISAM 2025,
or would like to share ideas for hot topics or speakers, please reach out to David Cipolla at david.cipolla@insmed.com.
Stay tuned for more details. We will soon launch the full congress website.
