First South Florida Translational Research Symposium 4/13/22 – 4/14/22

Florida International University Center for Translational Science is hosting the First South Florida Translational Research Symposium on April 13-14, 2022.

The symposium features four renowned plenary speakers addressing the highly relevant research topics of

• aging;
• oxidative stress, infection, and inflammation;
• endothelial function;
• and mitochondria and metabolism.

On Wednesday, April 13, the symposium will highlight student research by featuring a competitive poster abstract session where undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students will present their research. A committee of judges will determine the first-place research project in each group and present a ceremonial plaque.
