  • Her lab studies mucosal immunity to viral infections and vaccines with the goal of identifying correlates of immune protection against infection and transmission.
  • Recently she collaborated with aerosol  scientists at Lovelace Biomedical to better understand aerosol transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in the presence of antiviral immunity at the mucosal surface.

Webinar Topic:

  • Discussion of mucosal vaccination strategies for reducing aerosol transmission of SARS-CoV-2.
  • Discussion of ways to detect antibody-virus complexes in aerosol samples.
