The International Conference “Exploring the Future of Inhalation Drug Delivery“, organized by the University of Parma and supported by the Galenus Foundation, is scheduled to take place in Parma, Italy, from the 11th to the 13th of September 2024.

The conference will focus on the latest advancements in the formulation and development of inhaled medicines. This dynamic sector is experiencing continuous evolution, with a heightened focus on the introduction of innovative medicines designed for both local and systemic treatment. The thematic sessions will delve into various aspects, including the inhalation of biologics such as proteins or DNA/RNA-based therapies, novel treatments for unmet diseases (such as cough, cancer, lung infection, and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis), MDI propellant transition, and nose-to-brain delivery.

A dedicated scientific session will specifically be committed to young researchers, providing a platform for them to showcase their work and fostering the promotion of their research initiatives. The conference serves as a unique opportunity to present and exchange research achievements, offering a forum for interaction with prominent researchers and companies within this specialized field.

Several distinguished speakers with a high international reputation in the development of inhalation products have already confirmed their participation, further elevating the caliber of the event.
