Call for Thomas T. Mercer Joint Prize Award Nominations - Deadline July 12, 2024

The Awards Committee of ISAM and the American Association for Aerosol Research (AAAR) invites you to submit nominations for the Thomas T. Mercer Award. The Thomas T. Mercer Award, jointly sponsored by ISAM and AAAR, is based on the achievement of excellence in the field of medicinal aerosols and inhalable materials. The award honors the legacy of Thomas T. Mercer, an outstanding researcher and author whose work encompassed aerosol physics and chemistry as well as inhalation toxicology, industrial hygiene, and health physics.

The 2024 Mercer Award will be awarded by AAAR in their Annual Meeting, October 21-25, 2024 in Albuquerque, NM. Eligibility and Nomination Information for the 2024 Award: The award is based strictly on achievement in the field of inhalable materials and medicinal aerosols. No other qualifications are required of the recipient; membership in either ISAM or AAAR is not required of the nominee.

Any member of ISAM or AAAR may make nominations. At least two but no more than five supporting letters, along with the nominee's curriculum vitae should be sent to cfromen@udel.edu. At least one letter must be submitted by a current AAAR or ISAM member.

Nominations for this award must be received by July 12, 2024.
